WOOF! (Axminister) Woodfuel has been set up to provide a consistent supply of manufactured wood fuel products, typically Heatabix Logs, Blazer Eco Logs and wood pellets. All of our products have been sourced from sustainable plantation forestry in the UK and Scandinavia. All the wood used is a clean by-product of the sawmill industry and would otherwise go to landfill. There are no additives or gluing agents, all of our products are 100% clean and natural. Certified according to quality standard, ISO 9001 and Environmental Standard ISO14001.

 

 

We supply East Devon and West Dorset, the intention is to provide a delivery or collect service that offers the convenience of regular and smaller quantities by the bag or pack (1 to 100 plus packs). In the past the difficulty in handling large quantities of unpackaged fuel was often a barrier to successfully heating you home in a carbon neutral way. Now the high price of oil makes wood fuel a real alternative.

Wood fuel produces very little ash residue and can safely be used to fertilise your garden. Our Heatabix Logs and Blazer Eco Logs are ideal to supplement your existing woodpile. We have always found that despite best intentions there is never quite enough in the woodshed come midwinter. The Heatabix Logs come in 10kg packs and are ideal for all wood burners and multi-fuel stoves.

We can collect all of the used packaging from our products and recycle them using Bridport TLC waste services.

 

Heatabix Heat-Rich Logs

• Clean, convenient and a natural alternative to traditional firewood

Blazer Eco Logs

• Ultra Dry compressed clean sawdust from 100% virgin timber

• No spitting or sparks, burn hotter with quicker heat
• Very dry, less than 6% moisture, compared to 20-30 % of "dry" seasoned firewood
• Uniform size, typically 80mm x 100mm. consistent, steady heat release
• Ideal for less common wood fires, pizza and bread ovens, BBQ, garden chimineas, canal/house boat stoves
• Holiday cottage stoves/open fires and camping fires
• Also suitable in wood burners, multi fuel stoves (can be used in conjunction with other solid fuels), wood burning and solid fuel cookers, log boilers

 

Wood Pellets

• Efficient, consistent heat release
• Made from pure sawdust and shavings from sawmills
• No additives are used to make the pellets
• Can be used in pellet boilers for central heating and in pellet stoves for space heating
• Existing solid fuel boilers can also be converted to use wood pellets
• Sold in 10kg packs
