EcoGrillA new all-natural portable, disposable camp fire and barbeque grill (and it's instant lighting) I love this, I found it last summer and spent many happy hours cooking and grilling food and sitting around the left-over log that burns away like a camp fire. You can boil a kettle, cook fish and fry things then roast spuds in the embers. It’s simply brilliant. Developed from the old Nordic technique for burning tree stumps the alder wood has clever air channels cut in to it to burn the charcoal and surprisingly the wood only really burns away at the end. Whilst it is burning it tends to char the stump and creates more charcoal. I found it will burn away happily for about 3-4 hours.
 Click to view larger I used it in my kettle barbecue and it not only cooks just like normal charcoal grill but with the lid on it imparts that lovely smokey aroma alder wood is renown for. It is a fantastic gift at summer parties and far better than the bottle of wine I normally take. Obviously this is a natural product so size does vary, though burn time is about the same.
