I really like these new Hotties Heat logs; I have specially selected them for the WOOF! range as they are only eight inches long and fit really nicely in my small stove. They are so well compressed they retain their shape when burning and do not expand. The packaging is very neat for easy storage - it's hard to imagine that they weigh 10 Kg’s per pack. They are exceptionally clean, with little dust for easy handling.

The reason Hotties Heat Logs make your fire work so well is that they typically contain less than 5% moisture. Normal, seasoned wood can contain anything from 25-50% moisture, which might explain why they are often hard to 'get going' on a fire. In other words, if you receive a load of wood that's not seasoned, you are in effect paying for water.
