We have been buying the kiln dried logs from WOOF since last year for both the hotel and our own use. There is no spitting and sparking from the logs when alight which is very important, they light easily and give out lots of heat.

Excellent prompt service from William, competitively priced and a great product. We are happy to recommend WOOF Wood Fuel.

I have been buying wood pellets for a central heating boiler from WOOF for the past year. William always un-loads and stacks the pellets in the shed. The whole service from WOOF is quick, helpful and friendly.
I wouldn't buy pellets or other wood fuel from anywhere else.

I have a Rayburn Royal solid fuel cooker. This is the main source of heat for the house and so runs 24/7 in the winter, or we all freeze. I used Heatabix first and it burns very well. Then I used Woofers, a bit more expensive, burn equally well and seem to last just a bit longer. With the flue down at 1" and the spin wheel open just about 1/8 of a turn they tick over pretty well without roasting us all out of the kitchen and being wood respond pretty quickly if you need to stoke things up a bit before cooking. I like the smell and won't miss the the coating of black dust which seems to settle on everything. Cost-wise if I order by the full pallet I can run it for the same price as Anthracite with the obvious ecological benefit. I still keep staring at the ash pan wondering if it's ever going to collect anything!

Many thanks for popping in to see us this week, we've been using the Heatabix sample on a stove and are very impressed. So we would like to take a full pallet. Just chatting to customers this week they have generated a fair bit of interest.

I had a brand new wood burning Rayburn cooker installed in my thatched farmhouse last year. In spite of living near a large woodland I found it very difficult to get enough hot water or central heating because of a lack of dry logs. I was about to have the thing removed, then I tried WOOF!. At first I had 10 packs of Heatabix, then 10 more and then 10 more until I ordered a full pallet. As I live close enough this was delivered and neatly stacked in my garage whilst I was out at work. An excellent service. I have also used Blazers fuel logs for the Rayburn and open fire.
Now we have ample hot water, hot radiators and a cosy kitchen. If you want to meet a man who knows his job give William a call.

We've been using Woof since our Aga stove was installed last autumn. Very happy to recommend Woof to anybody and everybody. We've tried virtually all the products and love them all, very spoilt for choice, can't pick a favourite but would recommend them ALL!!!! They're all extremelly efficient, very warm with little ash. We rarely use our central heating system as a result! Good prices and prompt delivery too. What more could you ask for? 11 out of 10.

I use 35cm kiln dried hard wood logs for my new Esse woodburning range cooker. It has been a problem getting a large bulk bag of logs delivered in the past.Woof woodfuel repacked the bulk bag in to barrow bags for me and the delivery driver who was very nice and helpfull, wheeled all the bags around to our(Certainly Wood) log store. This seems a much better way of getting a large quantity of logs.I will save the bags to return with our next order!I also use Heatabix and Bark logs with great results.

Just got home on this lovely wet friday evening feeling all damp and cold. So need some instant heat! Thats now not a problem in our house since we started to use the kiln dried logs from Woof on our open fire. All it takes is a few pieces of kindling and the Kiln dried logs and you have an instant fire and instant heat!! It couldn't be easier! We quite often don't get home till early evening after work, school and tending to the horses so being able to light the fire so easily and get instant heat is a real treat. The logs are all a perfect size too, so none of the hard work involved with having to chop them down like you have to do with other logs you can buy. And there is hardly any ash to empty eihter. Again this is a real help in our very busy household!
Thanks William for all your help in choosing the right logs for me to use.

We have a Dovre 250 Multi-fuel stove and only discovered WOOF! this year. We have tried almost all of the products and the two we find the best for our stove are Kiln Dried Logs and Bark Logs (Lionels). Having said that, the Heatabix works well and we still use Rastafire and Straw Logs occasionally. Lighting the kiln dried logs couldn't be easier, one firelighter does the trick and within 15 minutes I can shut down the airflow and it's away. The 'Lionels' are amazing - I put one on the glowing bed of kiln dried before going to bed, and without exception the fire has been alight next morning and then just a matter of adding some more wood for daytime burning. The longest I have left a single 'Lionel' is 11.5 hours and it was still alight! Wind strength does have some effect on our stove but for most of the time, once the fire is burning we have the primary and secondary air inlets closed. We will never go back to using coal. With these WOOF! products the inside of the fire is much cleaner and the glass front of the stove remains clean for over a week, compared to half a day with coal! Heat output is more predictable with these products and for most of the time one or two logs burning together are sufficient to keep our room lovely and warm.
Finally, a big thank you to William for spending time going through all the products with us, and with regard to the staff at the warehouse at Chard Junction - they are brilliant!

Have just tried the Straw Logs and they are working a treat in our clearview-style wordburning stove. With a bit of fine-tuning to get the airflow right they last for a couple of hours and produce heaps of heat. Lovely stuff!
Will couldn't have been more helpful with processing the order, either. We'll be back for more next winter...

What a wonderful site!! very informative. I am a new multistove owner Harmony 23 and just gone through my first winter on coal. What a mess!! its ruined my glass and am waiting to have a new one fitted. have just taken delivery of my Blazer order and next mnth will be ordering "lionels" in preperation for the winter. I will also be ordering a pallet of kiln dried logs towards the end of the summer. I am really looking forward to this winter after reading all the advice on your site i cant wait to get going...(properly this time) My stove is my only source of heat and it was costing me a fortune trying to keep it going all night with coal and the fumes when first lit were not at all pleasant. I hope we win the world cup and have a fab summer....but roll on winter...thank you Woof

I have a Morso multi fuel burner. My fuel storage space is rather limited so find the easy storage of the eco logs useful. It is reassuring that I can order half pallets and know that they are delivered within the week and the delivery guys are really good. I have passed the Blazer logs onto friends who have open fires, as well as burners, and all have been impressed with the heat they produce and how clean they are. The glass on the log burner needs little or no cleaning. Will's warning that they do need breaking (sharp tap on a brick edge or another log) as they expand quite a bit when burning, is well worth remembering. Like Carol and Colin, I also use the Bark logs when I want to keep a fire ticking over for some time. They also help keep an open fire in for longer as well.

Hi Will just an update on my newfound skills of keeping the fire in continuously. Good quality fuel...thats it basically. My kiln dry logs have arrived and getting a good bed of hot wood before turning the stove down to either 1 for wood or off completely for "lionels"and it will tick along nicely through the night, firing up the next day beautifully, get it going for a couple of hrs before work and either wood or lionels again will keep the house toasty till I get home. My fire has been on continually since 1/10 and the glass stays clean. A quick wipe with a damp cloth every now and then and Bobs your uncle!!! Thankyou all at Woof wood for a fab service

Dear Woof,
I had a nice stove/cooker installed (Windy Smithy's c.5kw 'Henry Ranger') by the Robert Neave of Templecombe (excellent HETAS registered installer). I was disappointed with the heat output from some well seasoned ash and oak (four years under cover) and the oven wan't really hot enough. The firebox is tiny and so limits the amount of split log wood you can load in. I tried the Verdo wood briquettes and the stove loves them. I never imagined it would get that hot but the heat is consistent and controllable - perfect for cooking. I can get three briquettes in quite easily which gets the oven plenty hot enough for baking or roasting. Another feature of the these briquettes that I like is that, due to their square section, they don't roll away which can be a problem if you live on a hill. Thank you, a great solution to heating and cooking. I reccomend these briquettes!

Hi Will, so glad I found your site and gave you a call! Had a Morso Panther fitted recently and after much anticipation was desperate having used well seasoned mixed hardwoods. I could not get the stove to kick out more than 275F and was finding only 1C rise in room temperature and was constantly feeding the thing. After reading everywhere that the morso kicked out masses of heat, I felt I had made a costly mistake. However, have just tried the heatabix, blazers, woofers and bark logs last night. What a difference!!!! Straight up to 400F which is where it stayed. Am spoilt for choice they were all so good, heatabix so easy to use and kept glowing for hours, blazers kicked out masses of heat, and the bark log was an amazing long even burner. Thank you so much for the excellent advice and service we will now be toastie with our stove.

Just a very quick thank-you mail for the delivery today. I was delighted to return home and see the pellets all piled up in the shed and the key posted back through the front door as per my instructions. I hope the directions weren't too difficult to follow.

Please thank your driver from us, we're extremely pleased to have taken delivery before the anticipated cold snap!

Hi, just a quick message to say how pleased I am with your service & products. I placed the order by phone yesterday afternoon and the pallet was delivered this morning. Perfect. I've also been unsucessfully attempting to heat a 2 bedroom historic terraced house solely with kiln-dried logs (not yours) for about 1 month, without success. As you suggested, the Blazers are incredibly efficient!! Not only are the main rooms now warm, other radiators well down the chain are heating-up and even the hot water tank is getting some additional heat! Briliant - I'm now looking forward to spending a cosy Winter! Many thanks. John

I have just taken delivery of some Joiners Nuts and Bark Logs.

I tried the Nuts and WOW... massive heat, quick to light and long burning... opened the stove to pop a couple more in and nearly lost my hair LOL. I let those die down in order to eagerly try out a bark log - yes I know they're for overnight but I'm impatient to try my new treasure. Popped one on an hour ago and it's doing very nicely and the heat output is perfect for my already-warm narrow boat.

Didn't expect delivery this side of Christmas having only ordered a couple of days ago. The lorry driver was really lovely too.

Thank you! You've secured my custom for the future.

Those things that look like Farley's Rusks are the absolute business. They give out so much heat it's incredible.

PS your kiln dried logs that we got as a bonus are fantastic too.

Hi Will,

Just to let you know, we got the lump charcoal and I used it Monday for the first time. It is awesome, I'm very happy with it, and will definitely be ordering some again.

A quick thank you for your help and efficiency with my order. I very much appreciate being able to try out all the various options available being new to the whole stove experience!

The delivery driver was great too phoning me just before he was about to arrive.

So far we've used a blazer which lasted the whole evening and a Bark Log which was just about still going after 9 1/2 hours.
